of SWEA data going back to 2014-11-15, and including the initial
release of 2023-11-15 to 2024-02-14. Here?s a list of improvements:
(1) Quality flag that identifies the sporadic low-energy anomaly.
Allows data filtering. Data will no longer masked. They will be
provided as is, along with a quality flag.
(2) Decrease deadtime from 2.8 to 1.0 microseconds, based on
in-flight calibrations. This fixes an over-correction of the data
at high fluxes that is present in previous versions.
(3) Updated sensitivity to account for SWIA recalibration.
(4) Secondary electron contamination is estimated for all three
data products. This allows much better estimates of flux, density
and kinetic temperature in the magnetosheath and for auroral
electrons.
(5) Better data sorting at day boundaries. SPEC data are bundled
into groups of 16 spectra and time tagged with the first spectrum
in the group. At a day boundary, some of the spectra in a bundle
belong with the current day and the rest belong with the next day.
The new version now properly sorts SPEC data at day boundaries.

release including the initial release of 2024-05-15 to 2024-08-14.
Data Processing Notes
=====================
Data Timing Uncertainty
-----------------------
Some of the data files in this bundle may extend beyond the time for which the
Spacecraft Clock (SCLK) drift rate was defined based upon the SPICE MAVEN SCLK
kernel used to process them. As a result the SCLK drift rate may have been
predicted, resulting in small errors in the time (typically less than a few
1/100's seconds). Where this may be the case a note has been included in the
individual PDS product labels.
