Introduction
============
This document contains information pertaining to the Cassini Magnetospheric
Imaging Instrument (MIMI) Low Energy Magnetospheric Measurement System (LEMMS)
Raw Data Bundle. This bundle include includes Cassini MIMI Accumulation Rates,
Fine Accumulation Rates and Pulse Height Analysis data collections.
This bundle is organized into several collections, including:
browse (urn:nasa:pds:cassini-mimi-lemms-raw:browse),
data-accumulation-rates (urn:nasa:pds:cassini-mimi-lemms-raw:data-accumulation-rates),
data-fine-accumulation-rates (urn:nasa:pds:cassini-mimi-lemms-raw:data-fine-accumulation-rates),
data-pha (urn:nasa:pds:cassini-mimi-lemms-raw:data-pha),
document (urn:nasa:pds:cassini-mimi-lemms-raw:document), and
geometry (urn:nasa:pds:cassini-mimi-lemms-raw:geometry). PDS4 documentation is in all
XML. There is an XML label for every product in the archive.

Cassini MIMI LEMMS Geometry Collection
======================================
This collection contains Cassini MIMI LEMMS instrument geometry documentation.
This is a PDS4 archive of the following PDS3 data set:
CO-E_J/S/SW-MIMI-2-LEMMS-UNCALIB-V1.1 (https://doi.org/10.17189/1519598).
These collections were originally archived under PDS3 in the following volumes:
COMIMI_0000 and COMIMI_9003.
Under the PDS3 standard all archives were self contained and could in principle be
stored in a single file system (disk, CD-ROM, etc.). PDS4 takes advantage of the
network capabilities that allow archives to be distributed. As a result, some of
the documents and metadata previously stored in the PDS3 catalog files are no longer
maintained locally, but are maintained in a central repository. Those files are
referenced by unique PDS logical identifiers that are included in the document
collection inventory.
Errata
======
At the time of migration, not all browse plots were generated for the raw
data products. Please note there is not a browse plot for each data product.
Refer to the internal references for the matching browse and data products.
Found in LFRT0_2001173_0000.CSV, record 56493 field 9:
The original data value of: "2759.)83" has been changed to "2759.983".
The formatting was modified in the LEMMS_GEOMETRY.CSV file to correctly
fit in a CSV file. The data values themselves remain unchanged.
