Introduction
============
This document contains information pertaining to the Cassini Magnetospheric
Imaging Instrument (MIMI) Ion and Neutral Camera (INCA) Raw
Data Bundle. This bundle include includes Cassini MIMI Accumulation Rates,
Images and Pulse Height Analysis data collections.
This bundle is organized into several collections, including:
browse (urn:nasa:pds:cassini-mimi-inca-raw:browse),
calib (urn:nasa:pds:cassini-mimi-inca-raw:calib),
data-accumulation-rates (urn:nasa:pds:cassini-mimi-inca-raw:data-accumulation-rates),

data-anc-outcal (urn:nasa:pds:cassini-mimi-inca-raw:data-anc-outcal),

Cassini MIMI INCA Browse Collection

This collection contains Cassini Magnetospheric Imaging Instrument (MIMI)
Ion and Neutral Camera (INCA) ion flux per charge data for
1999-01-01T00:00:00.000Z to 2008-12-31T23:59:59.000Z.
Cassini MIMI INCA Calib Collection
==================================
This collection contains Cassini Magnetospheric Imaging Instrument (MIMI)
Ion and Neutral Camera (INCA) factor segments, postflight, pre and post jupter
calibration data.
Cassini MIMI INCA Accumulation Rates Data Collection
=====================================================
This collection contains Cassini Magnetospheric Imaging Instrument (MIMI)
Ion and Neutral Camera (INCA) raw subsector accumulation rate data for
1999-01-01T00:00:00.000Z to 2017-09-15T23:59:59.000Z.
Cassini MIMI INCA Ancillary Mode Data Collection
================================================
This collection contains Cassini Magnetospheric Imaging Instrument (MIMI) Ion and
Neutral Camera (INCA) ion or neutral mode start and stop times and mode value. The
Ion and Neutral modes are determined by the voltage on the INCA positive collimator
voltage.
Cassini MIMI INCA Ancillary Out of Calibration Data Collection
==============================================================
This collection contains Cassini Magnetospheric Imaging Instrument (MIMI) Ion and
Neutral Camera (INCA) out of calibration files for the times that the INCA images are
considered out of calibration. The time ranges are divided into events whether the
period was a planned (1) or unplanned (2) out of calibration event.

Ion and Neutral Camera (INCA) raw 1-4 sector image data for
1999-01-01T00:00:00.000Z to 2017-09-15T23:59:59.000Z.
Cassini MIMI INCA Pulse Height Analysis Data Collection

This collection contains Cassini Magnetospheric Imaging Instrument (MIMI)
Ion and Neutral Camera (INCA) pulse height analysis data for
1999-01-01T00:00:00.000Z to 2017-09-15T23:59:59.000Z.
Cassini MIMI INCA Geometry Collection
=====================================
This collection contains Cassini MIMI INCA instrument geometry documentation.
This is a PDS4 archive of the following PDS3 data set:
CO-E/J/S/SW-MIMI-2-INCA-UNCALIB-V1.1 (https://doi.org/10.17189/1519597).
These collections were originally archived under PDS3 in the following volumes:
COMIMI_0000 and COMIMI_9002.
Under the PDS3 standard all archives were self contained and could in principle be
stored in a single file system (disk, CD-ROM, etc.). PDS4 takes advantage of the
network capabilities that allow archives to be distributed. As a result, some of
the documents and metadata previously stored in the PDS3 catalog files are no longer
maintained locally, but are maintained in a central repository. Those files are
referenced by unique PDS logical identifiers that are included in the document
collection inventory.
Errata
======
At the time of migration, not all browse plots were generated for the raw
data products. Please note there is not a browse plot for each data product.
Refer to the internal references for the matching browse and data products.
The formatting was modified in the INCA_GEOMETRY.CSV file to correctly
fit in a CSV file. The data values themselves remain unchanged.
