Introduction
============
This document contains information pertaining to the Cassini Plasma Spectrometer (CAPS) Raw
(Uncalibrated) Data Bundle.
This bundle is organized into 8 collections, including: Cassini Plasma Spectrometer (CAPS)

Cassini Plasma Spectrometer (CAPS) Raw Actuator (ACT) Data Collection

This collection consists of all of the raw actuator data from the Cassini Plasma Spectrometer
(CAPS) on-board the Cassini spacecraft during the entire Cassini mission.
Cassini Plasma Spectrometer (CAPS) Raw Ancillary (ANC) Data Collection

This collection consists of all of the raw ancillary data from the Cassini Plasma Spectrometer
(CAPS) on-board the Cassini spacecraft during the entire Cassini mission.

This collection consists of all of the raw singles data from the Cassini Plasma Spectrometer
(CAPS) on-board the Cassini spacecraft during the entire Cassini mission.
Cassini Plasma Spectrometer (CAPS) Raw Ion Mass Spectrometer Time Of Flight (TOF) Data Collection
===============================================================================================
This collection consists of all of the raw time of flight data from the Cassini Plasma
Spectrometer (CAPS) on-board the Cassini spacecraft during the entire Cassini mission.
This is a PDS4 archive of the following PDS3 data sets:
CO-E/J/S/SW-CAPS-2-UNCALIBRATED-V1.0 (https://doi.org/10.17189/1519592).
These data collections were originally archived under PDS3 in the following volume:
CO-E/J/S/SW-CAPS-2-UNCALIBRATED-V1.0 in COCAPS_9001, COCAPS_1SAT, and COCAPS_1SW.
Under the PDS3 standard all archives were self contained and could in principle be stored in a
single file system (disk, CD-ROM, etc.). PDS4 takes advantage of the network capabilities that
allow archives to be distributed. As a result, some of the documents and metadata previously
stored in the PDS3 catalog files are no longer maintained locally, but are maintained in a
central repository. Those files are referenced by unique PDS logical identifiers that are
included in the document collection inventory.
Errata
======
An errata file has been included. If more issues are discovered, they will be noted in this file.
Every effort has been made to insure that the data are of the best quality available. However,
users are encouraged to verify the correctness of the data prior to submitting any publications
or other work based on these data and report any issues to PDS/PPI.
