The CALIB directory contains the mappings and constants used to convert
data on the JNOWAV_0000 volume to final calibrated data on this
JNOWAVS1000 volume. The calibration process uses as it's inputs the
CODMAC level 2 products and these files. No other input files are
required to create the data product files on this volume.
Though they are not expected to change often, each file contains a
version number included in the file name and in the PRODUCT_VERSION_ID
element of it's associated label. Each WAVES_SURVEY product file
includes the version numbers of the calibration files used to create
the product. The SURVEY product columns containing calibration version
numbers are:

HFR_HI_CAL_VERS
The Waves team may from time to time update one or more of the
calibration files. If such an occasion arises the relevant calibration
version numbers will be incremented and all affected output products
will be re-calculated and re-published, thus causing the product
versions to increment as well.
